We had dinner at Causeway awhile ago before attending the 6PM Mass at San Nicolas. My parents and I, since we’re the only ones left here in the house now, usually eat on weekends wherever. Causeway’s noodles is also one of my faves!

We had our “Biogyugan” last week and I portrayed the role of a penguin! Unfortunately we did not win. Nevertheless, Bio-week was fun considering the fact that I had the whole batch 2013 together “again”. It made us have this get-together again despite our busy schedules.

Speaking of schedule, my month of September is jam-packed with lots and lots of activities! I’m currently conditioning myself for the 29th’s “Pasmathon” aka Swim-Run-Swim-Run for PE class. We’ll be swimming 4 strokes and run around the oval for 20 times for an hour or so. Any suggestions on how to become good at that?

A couple of weeks ago, our Humanistic Studies 20 (Mito at Alamat sa Pilipinas) had an outreach at Pila, Laguna. I was given the opportunity to sing “Mutya ng Pasig” for the kids. I’m happy that I got to sing it right with the right pitch as well.

I have Comparative Anatomy class this semester, and I’m enjoying it! I have a frog, shark, chicken, turtle, and cat skeletons with me (Maybe I’ll take a picture of ‘em once I have the time to post) They all have names too.  

Last week, our class in History II and I had a temple tour just around the vicinity of Manila. We went to Taoist, Buddhist, Hindu, and Muslim temples. They are really nice places to visit. I had good time with the people around too. I really appreciate their beliefs as well, especially the chant of the Hindu people, the “Hare Krishna”.

For the rest of my subjects, er,exams and new lessons are coming! But it’s okay; it’s the life of a student anyway. So there, ’til next time.

Hhmmm… don’t you just love the smell of coffee during mornings? Well, I do. I really do.  I can still remember my very first cup of coffee way back in grade school. My mom usually encourage me to drink one cup a day to get me alive and kicking! On examination weeks, I always drink a cup every morning to help me remember everything I studied the past nights before the exam day. I grew up carrying that habit, and I guess it contributed to my being active in school.   Of course, coffee would never be out of my system now! It can be called the best friend of any college student nowadays. How about you? Do you love coffee as much as I do? When did you get your first drink of coffee?

Last May 31, some of my friends, from the lower year level in MMSQC, and I hung out at TriNoma. We watched the Nightmare in Elm Street and had coffee at Starbucks afterwards — my treat. I already talked about their batch in one of my May 2009 entries: My Taurean Month at Its Best. They’re just a year lower than me, which makes me an ate (older sister), but I really don’t see myself as one since I feel like I just really belong to their circle. The one in yellow is Kim, my so-called anak (daughter) in ACP. I’m really happy to find a new circle of friends to bond with whenever I need company. How about you… do you like going out or just being with your lower year schoolmates?

On another note, I was with my nephew, Aedan, the other day. I really miss this kid since I got busy with summer classes. We were able to bond yesterday, and of course, as vain as his Tita Sandra is,  we had the vanity syndrome again! LOL.  

I guess it’ll be one hectic life for me again! Chemistry, Math and Bio Major all in one semester! Add PE and GE subjects to that… do wish me luck!  I’m really hooked with this OMG song!

I sometimes miss my long hair though; nonetheless, I like how my new hair suits my 18-year-old-image. HAHA.

So it will be June tomorrow and enrollment starts on June 2. My one-week vacation was okay although I didn’t get much of the pampering I believe I deserve. LOL. What made my so-called vacation complete, I guess, are the movie dates I had with some of my closed high school batchmates and friends from the lower batch.

I’ll be on my second year in college soon! Time fleets fast and I can’t wait to celebrate my block’s first year anniversary in UPM on June 15! We survived one year of endless studying and cramming, Haha! I’m really happy to be in my block. We live just like we were in high school, only given tougher and more stressful curriculum!  

Legality. I had my debut at Diamond Hotel last May 2 to celebrate my legality for the 3rd of May. Now that I’m 18, I know that more responsibilities come my way. I’m not really thinking too much of it though because I think I’d just be pressured to do what must be ideally done. I am thankful that I have a family who guides and supports me all the way, friends who are there to brighten up my day and take off the daily burden I get from classes and hell weeks, and of course you, my net-friends, who have been so friendly and caring to me for the past six (6) years that I have been blogging. (My seventh year will be on the 5th of November 2010!) I know that, one way or another, you’ve molded me to become more sociable as I am now — more open in making new friends, and being just me to everyone I meet or know.

This was taken last night when most of my classmates already left after the practice. The one in blue is Adriene, in black is Bryan, in red is Joan, and in white is me. Time fleets so fast that we would be sophomores next academic year! HAHA. And it’s just good to know that we still have a strong connection even though we barely see one another like we used to be in high school.  Many things have changed, but the friendship we have? I guess not. Well, it can be changed but I know it’s for the better.

It was as if the end of the world when he called. I am again exaggerating here, but hey, he never called until March 30. So, what’s new? Nothing. But if we think about bringing that good old infatuated love back, and hopefully nourishing it to become a full-grown love, then it’s something.

When he called, I got the chance to confess to him what I really felt before. I realized how stupid I was for not being frank to him back then, because if I just did and took the risk then we would not have had to go through the stage of hiding our feelings for each other anymore. Knowing his positive feedback , we knew that there was really something more — even greater than infatuation.

Signs and symbols, like the songs and objects that remind me of him and of our good old days in Montessori, are everywhere and I can’t help but reckon. What sucks though is the fact that after that call, he’s being that not-making-efforts-to-reach-out-like-nothing-happened-guy again! Boys will be boys? Is that even a sickness? I don’t know; it’s just so vague. 

On another note, I had my pre-debut photoshoot!  I should’ve blogged about this yesterday, but since I was so tired, I just slept after getting back home. Well after I opened facebook!

I really like how the make-up of my eyes were done. Those pictures were taken on my ride going to Trinoma for dinner. I looked wasted, but vanity never failed to dominate. 

So how’s everyone doing? your summer vacation? In my case, I  have a two-week vacation. One week down and one more to go! (And that second week starts today). Ever since I entered college, I have been deprived of the most-loved habits I do for pastime. Yes that word — pastime.  Such word has been lost in my dictionary for Pete’s sake! Okay I’m exaggerating things,  but my ability to rest and have my own time for myself are somehow difficult to get lately. But don’t get me wrong, I love what I’m learning in school; I love how my life goes. However, I just miss the good old days. Good old days — days when I was in high school [Montessori] — carefree, relaxed, and easy life. I get to be nostalgic sometimes! Good thing my friends from my high school are still in-contact with me. I so love them. 

My new theme just fits well with how I feel right now. Yes, I’m kind of inspired even if I shouldn’t be in the first place.  Smile — that was my code name for him when I was in 4th year high.  I already moved on (I believed), but when he called recently, everything felt real again; so, here I am stuck again. 

I’ve set plans for my blog — change themes, do updates, edit pages and links. Hopefully I can do all of these this week [or maybe at the end of March.   Loser much, I know]. My schedule is so locked up with all the school requirements and never-ending long exams. There was no day that I did not have an exam, may that be major or minor subject. Anyhoo, I’ll be out this afternoon to see my batchmates! I am so excited.
